"Invest in DR" is a government initiative with the aim of exhibiting and encouraging investment opportunities in the Dominican Republic to more than 500 potential foreign investors, promoting the Dominican Republic as the main foreign direct investment (FDI) destination of the Caribbean and Central America. Its focus lays primarily on the following mayor sectors: tourism, real estate, infrastructure, agribusiness, services and manufacturing.

The panels held during the event will count with national and international personalities, among them businessmen such as Felipe Vicini, CEO of Grupo Vicini and Jose Luis Corripio, President of Grupo Corripio. The President of the Dominican Republi, Mr. Danilo Medina, is set to participate as a key figure in this summit.
