We have a special guest from Brazil!

André Ziccardi just arrived from São Paulo for some business meetings in Germany and will tell us firsthand how the business climate in Brazil is and how he sees the perspectives in the country.

André is the LAV-Young Professionals Ambassador in São Paulo and also Partner of Lefosse in São Paulo. He will also give us a glimpse on the recent M&A and ECM (IPOs) panorama in Brazil feeling the rhythm of the economy in the country. He also travels frequently to other countries in Latin America, as for example, Bolivia or Colombia and can give us some insights.

Auch Künstler aus Lateinamerika finden in der deutschen Hauptstadt mit ihren ca. 450 Galerien ein Zuhause und sind Teil einer pulsierenden, sich stets wandelnden Kunstszene. Wie leben sie, wo ist Ihr Werk zu sehen und wer stellt sie aus?

Kommen Sie mit uns! Wir besuchen das Atelier eines lateinamerikanischen Künstlers, eine Galerie, die lateinamerikanische Künstler vertritt, und zum Schluss nehmen wir einen Drink in einer Szene-Bar.​ Mit dieser Kunsterfahrung möchten wir die Bedeutung von Kunst und Kultur in der Gesellschaft beleuchten und gleichzeitig hervorheben, wie Kunst und Wirtschaft Hand in Hand gehen können.

hiermit laden wir euch zu einer virtuellen Diskussion über die Präsidentschaftswahlen in Chile und die bilateralen Beziehungen zu Deutschland ein.

 Chile und Deutschland verbinden enge wirtschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Beziehungen. Bereits 1871 gab es einen deutschen Botschafter in Santiago de Chile. Gegenwärtig ist Chile Deutschlands drittgrößter Handelspartner in Lateinamerika. Das Land wird oft als Musterbeispiel in der Region bezeichnet. Gleichzeitig scheint sich die Stimmung vor Ort einzutrüben. In 2019 und in diesem Jahr fanden große Demonstrationen für mehr soziale Gerechtigkeit statt. Daraus resultierend berät eine konstitutionelle Versammlung über eine neue Verfassung. Mit Gabriel Boric und Antonio Kast haben es die zwei extremen Kandidaten in die Stichwahl geschafft, die am 19.12.2021 stattfindet. Den Ausgang der Wahl aus deutscher Perspektive, die Auswirkungen der Corona-Pandemie sowie einen Ausblick auf die bilateralen Beziehungen diskutieren wir mit unserem Gast und Gesprächspartner

Dear LAV-Young Professionals,

on short notice we organized one last meeting this year: we are glad to organize a “get-together” this Christmas season! Thursday, 16th December at 7:30 pm at the restaurant Hobenköök in Stockmeyerstrasse 43, 20457 Hamburg.

This time the restaurant offers us a buffet dinner for 29,90€ per person, so that each of you can eat what you prefer or just try a little bit of everything. No beverages included. The amount should be paid separately by each one at the restaurant.

Last November 29th we had the opportunity to visit our LAV-associate Bucerius Law School, thanks to the invitation from Peter Theunert, Head of Process Digitization & International Career Service. The LAV met the new students who came from Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Paraguay, among other Latin American countries, to study in the master's program offered at this institution.  After introducing ourselves and explaining the core bussiness of the LAV, we were able to exchange ideas with them about their perspectives on Latin America and visions for the future, as well as about their work experiences, upcoming plans and possible exchange between the LAV, LAV-Young Professionals and the BLS (Bucerius Law School). It was a fruitful and enriching meeting. We are looking foward to this excellent coooperation and win-win partnership!

Das Treffen in Stuttgart mit lateinamerikanischer Gastronomie hat 10 LAV-Young Professionals am 10. November versammelt. Katja Conradt, LAV-Young Professionals Ambassadorin Württemberg und Ines Banhardt von Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i) berichteten über den LAT, der nach einer Zeit der Distanz und Abstand es ermöglichte sich wieder persönlich zu begegnen und austauschen zu können. Dieser Spirit saß auch in Stuttgart mit am Tisch.

Sofern es das Pandemiegeschehen zulässt, plant die Gruppe einen Weihnachtsmarkt Besuch und Ende Januar ein Neujahrstreffen/Essen.
