Dear members and friends of the Business Association for Latin America (LAV),

under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Hesse, Volker Bouffier, the Business Association for Latin America (LAV) and the Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry are pleased to invite you to the 70th Latin America Day on the 8th and 9th of October 2019.

After the political changes in Latin America, what happens to monetary stability and interest rates in the region? What is necessary to improve the investment opportunities? What should European companies consider when they are doing business in Latin America or when they want to strengthen their existing local businesses? These and other questions are discussed by international and industry experts on the first day of the conference.

On the following day we will focus on the German-Ecuadorian economic relations as well as selected key and future-oriented sectors of the German-Latin American business world.

Guest of Honor at the gala dinner on the 8th of October will be H.E. Lenin Moreno, President of the Republic of Ecuador.

Let us give you a warm welcome to the City of Frankfurt.
