Under the patronage of the First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Dr. Peter Tschentscher, the Business Association for Latin America is pleased to invite you to the 72nd Latin America Day, on November 10th and11th, 2022, in Hamburg.
The world seems to have undergone massive change since the beginning of the year. Substantial transformation processes are also taking place in Latin America. In addition, the continent is increasingly coming back into the German and European focus, both economically and politically. It is time for action! Therefore, this year's conference will focus on the state of relations between Europe (Germany) and Latin America, with particular attention to Green Deal. How are supply chains changing and what are the implications of German and upcoming European legislation? What impact do climate "rules" and certifications have on financing? And is the Latin American energy market forward-looking?
Latin America is very advanced in digitalization in many areas. Acceptance and adoption of new technologies are high; companies, institutions, and people are very open to digital solutions. In areas such as productivity, communication, or process optimization, we can learn a lot from Latin America and its successful start-ups, as well as bring sustainability and climate protection into cooperations in Germany. Are innovation and digitalization a new springboard for LATAM? Which technical solutions will be used in the future for mechanical engineering? What experiences and learning processes have changed the Healthcare sector and what do innovative solutions for food security look like? We will answer these and other questions on both conference days, and we would like to also invite you to participate in the debate and do some serious networking!
We welcome you to Hamburg and hope to see you soon.
Don't miss this opportunity to meet, interact with and be part of the Latin American community!
