The AHK Chile – the German-Chilean Chamber of Commerce and Industry – is pleased to invite you to participate in this exclusive delegation trip to Chile, taking place from October 19 to 25, 2025. The trip will focus on Gender Perspectives in Sustainable Raw Material Value Chains, with particular emphasis on the sectors of lithium and copper, and the role of female talents in these industries.
This delegation is tailored for representatives of companies, research institutions, and public sector stakeholders involved in sustainable mining, raw materials, gender equality in the mining sector, and innovation. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and in cooperation with Women in Mining Chile, Women4Metals, ProChile and Representation of the Federal State of Bayern for South America
Over the course of one week, participants will visit key industry sites and institutions in Santiago, Antofagasta, and San Pedro de Atacama. The program includes B2B meetings, expert discussions, networking opportunities and on-site visits, offering direct insights into Chile’s strategic role in the global raw materials supply chain and the growing importance of inclusive, sustainable practices. Studies have consistently shown that diverse teams deliver better results—a truth increasingly recognized in the mining sector.
