We are looking for someone, who will lead both brand’s 50 people team, work together with central Ventura departments such as Marketing, IT & Finance and ensure the healthy growth of the company.

In your role, you’ll have a big impact, not just on the lives of your team members, but on the thousands of travelers who travel to Latin America and the communities we visit.

We are looking for an experienced leader, with a strong passion for travel in Latin America & determination to keep our brands on their successful journey.

Viventura and puraventura have offices in Quito, Cuzco, La Paz, Merida and in Berlin, Germany. As the Executive Director of Latin America, your primary location will, however, be in our headquarters in Berlin. You can impress us even more with
- 3+ years of experience in tour operation
- German or French language

Der Lateinamerika Verein e.V. (LAV) ist das in Hamburg ansässige, branchenübergreifend und bundesweit tätige Unternehmensnetzwerk und die Informationsplattform für die deutsche Wirtschaft mit Interessen an und in Lateinamerika. 

Aufgaben

Sie möchten Erfahrungen in einem branchenübergreifenden und bundesweit tätigen Unternehmensnetzwerk sammeln und maßgeblich an der Konzeption und Umsetzung einer der größten Lateinamerika-Konferenzen in Deutschland beteiligt sein? Herzlich Willkommen beim LAV.

Zu den Hauptaufgaben zählen hierbei:

  • Vorbereitung und Verfassen von Länderberichten in der Mitgliederpublikation "Wirtschaftliche Mitteilungen" des Vereins auf der Basis umfassender Internet-Recherchen in spanischen, englischen und deutschen Medien
  • Tägliche Erstellung und Betreuung der Homepage
  • Unterstützung bei der Vor- und Nachbereitung von Tagungen, Unternehmerreisen sowie der jährlich stattfindenden 2-tägigen Konferenz des Lateinamerika-Tages
  • Allgemeine Korrespondenz mit Vertretern der Wirtschaft und Politik aus Deutschland und Lateinamerika in Deutsch, Spanisch und Englisch
  • Bearbeitung von Mitgliederanfragen sowie Unterstützung bei den allgemein anfallenden Büroarbeiten des LAV
  • Allgemeine Unterstützung der Geschäftsführung und der Länderreferenten

Anforderungen

  • Eingeschriebener Student, vorzugsweise in Kultur-, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder Politikwissenschaft oder in der Übergangsphase zwischen Bachelor und Master 
  • Bezug zu Lateinamerika und der Karibik
  • Gute Deutsch-, Spanisch- und Englischkenntnisse
  • Erfahrung im Bereich der Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sind von Vorteil
  • Gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Hohes Maß an Selbstständigkeit, Eigeninitiative und Teamfähigkeit
