CAF’s Country Strategy for the Plurinational State of Bolivia 2025–2030 outlines a joint roadmap with the national government aimed at promoting a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development model. The document acknowledges the country’s progress in infrastructure, poverty reduction, and the expansion of basic services, but highlights the challenges arising from a macroeconomic environment strained by fiscal imbalances, a decline in hydrocarbon production, and growing social and environmental vulnerabilities. The strategy is based on a comprehensive analysis that identifies opportunities to transform the productive matrix, modernize public institutions, accelerate the energy transition, strengthen logistical and digital integration, and reduce persistent gaps in health, education, housing, and access to water. It also incorporates gender equity, social inclusion, the digitization of the State, and environmental sustainability as cross-cutting themes that enhance the impact of interventions. Taken together, the Country Strategy reaffirms CAF’s commitment to supporting Bolivia in its economic recovery and transition toward a more diversified, green, and competitive model, contributing to the well-being of its population and the development of Latin America and the Caribbean.
