Nach der erfolgreichen ersten Woche der Dominikanischen Republik im September 2023 in Berlin ist für die Woche vom 7.-12. Oktober 2024 eine Deutsche Woche in Santo Domingo geplant. Für interessierte Unternehmen bereitet die AHK Konferenzen, Termine und B2B-Treffen vor. Abgerundet wird die Woche durch ein Kulturprogramm (durch Botschaft und Deutsch-Dominikanisches Kulturzentrum CDA) und Veranstaltungen zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit (Schwerpunkt der Wirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit, GIZ und Promar), um die deutsche Präsenz und unseren langjährigen Beitrag zur Entwicklung noch sichtbarer zu machen. Ein Thema von großem Interesse ist dabei die Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der Beruflichen Bildung.
