Under the motto: "75 years - Full steam ahead!", we're commemorating this year a milestone event – the 75th anniversary of TheLatin America Day!
For 75 years, we've fostered economic, political, social, and cultural ties between Germany and Latin American countries.Our platform has showcased Latin American and German business and political dialogues, sparking meaningful discussions for three quarters of a century.Since 1949, the event has welcomed nearly 30 presidents, numerous vice-presidents, ministers, leaders from global institutions and businesses to Germany.
Experts now view Latin America as more peaceful than Eastern Europe, less corrupt than Africa, and more democratic than Asia. The Latin America Day provides a deep dive into this dynamic region.This special 75th celebration will be hosted at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, with a gala dinner at the iconic Hamburg City Hall.
