The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) has established bilateral Digital Dialogues with important partner countries outside the EU. In September 2020, BMWi consulted with a wide range of stakeholders to identify focus topics for their Digital Dialogues with Brazil and India. This year, BMWi would like to continue this exchange, review the current status in both dialogues and extend their focus to further countries, such as Mexico.
Second stakeholder consultation for the International Digital Dialogues on
Tuesday, 28 September 2021, 2.00pm - 5:30pm German time (GMT +2).
The meeting will take place in English language via WebEx.
During the meeting, there will be a update about the status of the digital dialogues in Brazil and India and a discussion about important digital policy developments. BMWi also wants to give visibility to your projects and successes and are happy to include your contribution. The results of this consultation will inform the negotiations with the partner countries.
In order to meet your specific needs and interests, differentiate into break-out sessions will be available. These will be planned according to your feedback regarding regional and/or topic interests. Thefore, please fill in the respective questions in the registration form.
The BMWi has commissioned the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to support the Digital Dialogues with a secretariat.
